I was never interested in politics. Its a cruel industry where people seem to be working for their own personal benefits instead of working towards a common goal to achieve peace and harmony in society. I have always turned a blind eye to most of the things happening around the political world but lately things have affected me a lot more than they would have a few years ago.
I didn’t plan on making this track with a political agenda. I was just creating something and I felt that a powerful speech by someone would really amplify the music. I was lucky to bump into Charlie Chaplin’s ‘The Great Dictator’ speech which I felt was fitting in today’s scenario where monotony and greed have taken precedence over a lot of other things. I firmly believe that if there is one thing that can change the world, it is consideration towards each other. If we develop empathy and think about the reaction that our actions cause then the world could be a better place.
The track is mixed and mastered by Ishan naik and the beautiful artwork has been made by Saloni Sinha.
This is Machine Men and I hope you relate to it as much as I do.
